One-On-One with Phylicia

Don’t break my heart: I did the thing my Dad said would always cause headaches, fall in love. He always told me when I was younger that falling in love is something you may regret once I do it. He was right about the headaches, but I don’t regret it because I learned from all that I’ve been through.

Look into my eyes: My Eyes, because they are the gateway into what I want conveyed to the person looking into them.

I love life: I am outgoing and free-spirited and no one can take that away from me. Many people would call me bubbly, but I don’t like being the negative person bringing everyone down. I like to be the person people think is too up and at it in the morning when everyone is still waking up.

Trust is everything to me:
I look for a trust-worthy man whom I can wake up to every morning and know that God sent me an angel from above. I prefer a man slightly older than me because sometimes it seems that some younger men’s heads are still in the clouds.

Are you kidding me, is he vein?:
I can’t stand a guy who stands in the mirror longer than I do, or that is so stuck on them self. I love a man who values a woman for who they are. I  absolutely love the creative, artistic, and sensitive man that knows how to care for a woman in a way that others would crave.

I said I love you?: Oh wow, I’ve had a lot of these. I’d have to say the first time I said “I Love You”, I felt like I was letting someone into a place I was very hesitant having disturbed. My hardest thing to do is trust, and when I said that I felt like I was letting down my barrier and trusting that person.

Na, your “game” isn’t working: You can impress me by not hitting on me. I like being with someone I can just chat with about all types of stuff. I like a lot of things that guys do. I was a tomboy when I was young. I love to watch and
play basketball, play all types of video games on any type of game system, run, and just be physically active.

I just can’t resist: I have to say I tend to like “Tall, dark, and handsome”. My sister always teases me that the two boyfriends that I’ve had look the same. I constantly argue that they don’t. I love a man who knows how to treat a lady, a man that has their own unique style and not something from the television. I love a man can massage really well and knows how to use all parts of their body. I like a man who enjoys working out and doesn’t sit and watch TV all day or want some girl that fits an image determined by the distorted media.

I got a lil skills: I can play the tenor saxophone. I also participate in ballet. I love to stay physically active. I hate to sit still for a long time. I love to make wire art jewelry. I can wrap my arms all the way around my head.

Do you approach men that you like or do you let them come to you? I am definitely the person who makes the first move. It annoys me too. I’m tired of always being the one to step up to the plate. It makes me really want to say, “Grow some balls Man”.
