TOPIC: SELF-LOVE & WELL-BEING
I know that this holiday season is all about giving. And traditionally it is fashioned around giving to others. But what if I told you that you could turn the tables and instead of only giving to all your friends and family, you could give to yourself as well. You could give the gift that keeps on giving which is the gift of self-love and well-being. Some of you maybe wondering at this point, “what is self-love and well-being?” I would describe self-love as a deep affection for your total being. And well-being is simply a natural state of feeling good. I feel that once these principles are a part of your daily life you will desire to live a life of greatness.
Now the way to begin incorporating these principles is to first begin to live in a state of joyous acceptance of who you are. Let go of every negative thought you ever had about yourself. Remember, those negative thoughts are just that, thoughts, and a thought CAN be changed. And once you have release those negative thoughts, replace them with thoughts of, “I am loved and accepted just as I am and all is well” and “I am a prefect divine creation of GOD enjoying life to it’s fullest.” Try these affirmations for the next thirty days consistently. And don’t be surprised if you start noticing people treating you differently in a positive way. The reason this will happen is because you have changed the way you think about yourself as well as the things you say to yourself. As a result people will begin to treat you as if you ARE a divine creation of GOD.
Thomas Paine once said, “It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be mentally faithful to himself.” So remember. “what we think about we bring about, so don’t waste your thoughts on negative thinking.” All is well.
