Happy February Everyone!

February is recognized as Black History Month. It is the time set aside to pay tribute to important people and events in the history of African Americans. It originates back in 1926 by historian Carter G. Woodson. Mr. Woodson chose the second week of February because it marked the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, February 12th and the death of Frederick Douglass February 14th. He felt that they were Americans who greatly influenced the lives and social condition of African Americans.

Interestingly, Black History Month, Carter G. Woodson, and February have a lot in common when it comes to Numerology. For instance, when looking at the destiny number for Black History Month, Carter G. Woodson, and the month of February all vibrate to the loving and magnetic number 6. The destiny number tells you what you came into this life to manifest. The number 6 vibration represents love and partnerships. It is also the vibration of feminine energy, compassion, money, romantic love, self-sacrifice, and discernment. Because the 6 vibration has a natural tendency to instruct others, it is consider the vibration of the teacher. It’s a very nurturing vibration that strives for a harmonious life filled with laughter, grace, and beauty.

Carter G. Woodson had no idea that his destiny was so directly connected to the creation of Black History Month and the month of February. As I mentioned earlier, the 6 is consider the vibration of the teacher. By becoming one of the first scholars to value the study of Black History, Mr. Woodson activated his 6 destiny and accomplished one of the things he came into this life to manifest. His determination to further the recognition of the Negro in America and world history inspired many other scholars. As a result, many people saw him as a man of vision and understanding.

Additionally, the name “Black History Month” as a 6 vibration, asks that we embrace the beauty of who we are and where we come from…Mother Africa. During this month, ask yourself, “What am I doing to bring the 6 vibration of laughter and love into my life and how am I sharing that laugher and love with others?”

Finally, the word February as a 6 vibration is directly connected to the energy of Love. The number 6 is ruled by the planet Venus and she is known as the Goddess of Love. In the month of February, we celebrate Valentines Days which directly connects to the 6 vibration of Love as well.

This Black History month we must be sure that we are honoring the rich and abundant history of our ancestors. Recognize that the universal essence of the 6 vibration is primarily focused on the energy of love as a transformative force. And through the nurturing nature of the 6 vibration, we are asked to embody service to our fellow man through the energy of love.

If a race has no history, if it has no worthwhile tradition, it becomes a negligible factor in the thought of the world, and it stands in danger of being exterminated.
