What made you want to be a DJ? My passion for music and broadcasting.

How long have you been a DJ? Well over a decade.

What moment did you know this was your calling? When I would sit in front of my home stereo system all day recording a pretend radio program - I was only 12 years old.

What DJ do you look up to? Casey Kasem, Rick Dees, Ryan Seacrest, etc...

Is this your dream job? If no then what is? Yes, I wouldn’t want to do anything else!!

How long have you been with the station? I have returned after 5 years - it’s been 10 months since my return.

Whats your take on the industry today? Things have sure changed, but we must change with the times. I think the future of our industry looks promising.

Are there any other fields in the industry you work in? Yes, I am a voice over artist. I’m looking to pursue a career in television hosting.

Whats in your Ipod? Akon, Flo Rida, Black Dada, Sean Kingston, Lionel Richie, etc...

Favorite Record to date? Lionel Richie’s latest album “Just Go” love every track on the album!

What do you do when your not DJing? I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Jay Stevens has over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry having worked in radio, nightclubs, and as a mobile DJ personality and business owner. Jay owns and operates

IN THE MIXX PRODUCTIONS, a mobile DJ entertainment service proudly serving Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and surrounding areas. IN THE MIXX is the preferred entertainment choice throughout South Florida.

Jay Stevens is currently hosting weekends after dark for WPOW-FM Power 96, and is the fastest rising Disc Jockey on Top 40 radio today! Formerly known for hosting weeknight’s which included the “Love Hour” a specialty radio program which at the time was one of the most listened to shows on Power 96.5 FM and South Florida’s most listened to late night radio program.

Jay Stevens also held a co-producer position for the afternoon drive, which secured a permanent position at number one in the ratings working behind the scenes alongside legendary radio veteran DJ Laz, the “Afternoon Pimp Show.”

Jay Stevens is also a professional voice-over talent and voice actor. Jay has great pleasure employing his vocal versatility and passion for acting through the interpretation of a script having worked on numerous projects ranging from radio & TV advertisements, and websites.
