They say god bless the child who can hold his own, and standing at over six feet tall, weighing in at 300 pounds, and being only nineteen years old- one thing is clear rapper/entrepreneur/writer “T.Shaw” has never had a problem doing so. The son of a drug addict, the nephew of a convicted drug dealer, and the grandson of a notorious pimp “hustling” is not in his personality, its in his DNA. Born on February the 7th, 1988, Tyree Akeem Shaw doesn’t come off as your typical teenage rapper, possessing an uncanny charisma and lyrical repertoire putting him in a category of his own, giving him membership to the leagues of hip-hop’s most respected lyricists. More than a rapper, Shaw is an entrepreneur, a writer, a poet laureate, a survivor…

At the tender age of seven Shaw became the man of his household, after his father’s final success at suicide. Hoping to separate him from the negativity surrounding them and desperate to see her son do more than his father, Shaw’s mother relocated him and his younger brother to the South, South Florida to be exact. This move would change him and his music forever…

It is in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida that Tyree Shaw would become T.Shaw, a southern gentlemen with the flashiness of a young Pimp C combined effortlessly with the lyrical skills and swag comparable if only to the late great Notorious B.I.G, but more so T.Shaw is original- authentic- the truth. With a talent undeniable, a swag incomparable, and a face only a mother could love T.Shaw is more than just the here and now or a fad, he is the FUTURE…
