Where are you originally from?

Southern Pines North Carolina. That’s how we came up with the Album titled “Mr. Southern Pine”.

How long have you been rapping?

12 years

How did you get into the Music Business?

I got into the music business at age young age of 6 or 7. My father was close to Run DMC and Jam Master Jay (R.I.P.) and would bring me alone to hang when they would tour close to the carolinas.

You were on some big tours over the past few years’ man. How were you able to get involved with that?

Man a friend of mine that own’s DCap Grfx,inc. a design company based out of Jacksonville Florida do alot of work for promoters around the country. So when he get jobs for things he feels could be beneficial to my career he would introduce me to the promoter(s) and let them know about my Alicia Key’s affiliation through Manager DJ Walton and prior shows, it’s pretty much a done deal after that...on top of that we be rocking the crowd harder than signed artist. So after a couple of that through Dcap’s hook ups now we get calls directly for paid shows.

I understand that you are managed by Alicia Keys Road manager?

Aww Yeah...Dj Walton a.k.a. Manager of the Year!

What’s the process been like trying to break out of the South? I know there is a lot of artist trying to get on.

First you gotta make a hot record, expose that record and then if it’s that “crack” they will come running and once they come running you supply them with more and more!

What have you learned about the industry so Far?

It’s all lies...so don’t believe shit you see or hear unless you know!!!

What artist or producer would you like to work with?

Everybody from Boosie to Carrie Underwood and every producer from Mannie to Rick Ruben!!!

What rapper has influenced you as a Mc?

Alot, can’t just say one...but it more than just rappers; LL, 50, Run DMC, Ma$e, Elvis, Temptations, Johnny Cash, Beatles, Old Michael Jackson and the list gose on and on.

I see that you dropped a Mixtape with DJ Smallz. Did you receive a good response on the Tape?

Talk to me about your new single “Awww yeah”. The song is crazy! Whenever I play it the crowd goes crazy.

Man it’s going stupid in the streets, youtube & myspace about 3 to 4 hundred plays a day on myspace... “Aww Yeah”.

What advice would you give to up and coming artist?

(Stop, Listen & Learn)... Just do you and don’t stop.
