Italian hip hop started in the early 1990s. One of the first hip hop crews to catch the attention of the Italian mainstream was Milan’s Articolo 31, then and still today produced by Franco Godi, who had written the soundtrack to the animated TV series Signor Rossi in the 1970s.

Not many artists in the R&B genre can create music that can carry the title “BabyMaker” version and get away with it. Miraj, however can and does. The term “BabyMaker” refers to a type of music that is played during “Love Sessions”. Artist such as Teddy P., Luther Vandross, 112 and Barry White to name a few have created music to this effect.

Like all things a beginning must exist. Hip-Hop for Americans began in the 70’s and has been shaping the minds of generations ever since and had been moving from land to land leaving it’s mark.
